A leading darknet drug seller in one of the world’s largest darknet marketplaces belonging from Irvine has been sentenced recently to a decade in the federal prison and that the news has been confirmed by the U.S. Department of Justice in a written statement. The accused has been identified as Tyler Reeves of age 29 years who has been selling narcotics under the pseudonym “Platinum45” and has been pleaded guilty in March as a result of distributing a drug called methamphetamine and also involved in money laundering. He has been ordered to pay a fine of $15,000 in addition to serving the prison.

Wall Street darknet market is one of the leading darknet markets on the dark web that used to sell drugs, financial theft wares and hacking tools in Germany, the United States and Brazil while it has also been found out by the authorities that most of the sale was on drugs. The Irvine man has been described as one of the top five vendors of the darknet marketplace involved in the sales of prescription painkillers, methamphetamines, sedatives and stimulants on the currently defunct marketplace between mid 2017 and September 2018.

The investigators have consumed two years for the investigation while the investigators from the United States and Europe broke down the operation and the German police seized the Wall Street Market. Mashable had reported that the Wall Street darknet marketplace has went for maintenance in April where it send the users into the panic zone as they had accused the operators of the darknet marketplace to have performed an exit scam and fleeing off with their Cryptocurrency. According to the DOJ, the investigators have found out that the operators of the darknet marketplace took around $11 million from the users in the so called exit scam.
